Course Overview

This self-guided online training focuses on training and instructional development. The course explores adult learning development and theory, along with competencies, self-evaluation of knowledge and skills, strengths, and values. It also covers professionalism and ethics, presentation styles, methods and techniques, and approaches to identifying, writing, and developing training that supports learning objectives. Additional areas include effective communication (verbal, nonverbal, formal, and informal), evaluation of learning experiences including needs assessments, and developing and sustaining a positive learning environment.
